Fort
Myers, FL – March 2025 / NewsmakerAlert: The
Ultimate
Ninjas Academy, Fort Myers’ favorite new Fun Destination for youngsters,
is hosting a grand opening celebration on Saturday, April 5 from 11
A.M. until 1 P.M. complete with face painting, snow cones, balloons,
and a visit from the academy’s panda bear mascot. Located at 9281 College
Parkway, next to Anytime Fitness in the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market
Center, the Academy is the first in Florida for the Chicago-based Ultimate
Ninjas Franchise Group, a retail-footprint, obstacle course gym specially
designed for kids aged 10 months to 10 years old.
Since
their soft opening in late February, the word is out from parents of area
toddlers who are lining up to sign their children for classes and their
half-day Summer Camp. Mini Ninjas are ages 10 months – 2 years; Lil Ninjas
are ages 3-5 and Junior Ninjas are ages 6-10. The site is a dream-come-true
for parents of children with boundless energy and a safe and supervised
setting where kids can run up warped walls, climb rock walls and traverse
obstacles like those they see on TV. The ideal place for birthday parties
and special events, it’s also a healthy diversion from screen time for
the little ones, while building confidence, improving balance, fitness
and overall athletic ability. Ava Walter and Ali Haki serve as Operations
Managers for the Academy.

Owners
of the new Ultimate Ninjas Academy are Jim
Stewart and Cordula
Reichardt, who also own the neighboring Anytime Fitness. Prior to Anytime,
Reichardt co-owned a successful local CrossFit gym while Stewart worked
as an employee of Ford Motor Company, later buying a company that was a
Ford supplier. The partners have owned the Anytime Fitness for 12 years.
Stewart and Reichardt are transforming their success in keeping adults
in shape to a much younger clientele, while sharing some of the secrets
they have learned along the way. Their goal is to help make each child
become well-rounded and teach them skills including strength, body awareness,
balance, flexibility, perseverance, accountability and respect.
Staffed
by certified trainers with a specific curriculum, classes range from parent-involved
beginning movement through independent skill-based obstacle classes. Coaches
work with the young Ninjas on developing age-appropriate activities that
promote learning through play and exploration while cultivating a positive
environment where children develop valuable skills early in their development.
Ninjas Certified trainers lead children through a quick warmup, followed
by three circuits of obstacles, some water breaks and a cooldown. They
follow a specific curriculum that changes weekly to make it fun, safe and
challenging for each child. The Academy is currently hiring positive, enthusiastic,
fitness and child-loving college-aged students to serve as coaches and
expects to generate 10 new positions at the site. To apply, contact Cordula
Reichardt via email at Cordula@ultimateninjas.com.
When
Stewart and Reichardt purchased the building that is now Anytime Fitness
in 2013, they also closed on the purchase of the Anytime Fitness franchise.
Their long-term goal was to establish additional health and fitness-oriented
businesses. Meeting that objective, the Living
Vine Organic Café is located in Ninjas Academy building. Owned
by nutrition expert and health coach Sylvie
Szabo, the breakfast/lunch café focuses on everything organic.
Under
the same corporate umbrella as full-size Ultimate
Ninjas training gyms, five Ultimate
Ninjas Academy locations are currently in various stages of construction
in the United States. The concept was conceived by Jeff
Piejak to respond to an increased demand for pre-k and toddler programming.
Ultimate Ninjas is the world’s premier ninja gym franchise with 14 current
or pending United States locations with sites soon to be opening in other
countries. The Ultimate Ninjas Academy brand is driving the ninja sport
forward by developing a world-class sport and entertainment venue with
programs that tap into highly popular ninja obstacle course racing which
will be included in the 2028 Olympics’ Modern Pentathlon event. For additional
