projects come to life,” said Brian
Stockton, director of economic development for the city of Woodstock.
“Downtown Woodstock has always been a place where people love to gather,
and these new enhancements will only further support our thriving community.”
A New Era of Accessibility: City Center East Parking Deck Offers Free Parking The highly anticipated City Center East Parking Deck (102 Arnold Mill Road) is now fully open, providing more than 630 free parking spaces in the heart of downtown Woodstock. This addition alleviates long-standing concerns about parking availability, making it easier than ever for visitors to enjoy shopping, dining and entertainment. In addition to its convenience, the deck features four vibrant murals adorning its elevator banks, adding a touch of artistry and playfulness to the space—perfect for selfies and social media moments. Woodstock City Center: The Future of Downtown Construction continues on Woodstock City Center an exciting 50,000-square-foot mixed-use development that will soon be home to premier retail, dining and office spaces. The design centers around Depot Square (513 Chambers Street), a lush green gathering space featuring two new restaurants and pedestrian-friendly access to the parking deck. “This project is redefining the heart of downtown Woodstock,” said Ingrid Smith, marketing manager for Visit Woodstock GA. “With its seamless blend of charm and innovation, Woodstock City Center will be a place where connections are made and businesses flourish.” Office spaces are currently available for lease. Historic Freight Depot Revitalization Woodstock’s rich history is also being celebrated through the restoration of the historic freight depot, soon to be home to Fire & Stone Italian Pizza Kitchen. The restaurant, set to open in summer 2025, will incorporate the existing train caboose into its design, featuring an expanded deck and outdoor seating for a dynamic community experience. Adjacent to the depot, a newly constructed stand-alone restaurant will further enhance the area’s growing culinary scene, cementing downtown Woodstock as a must-visit food destination. Adair Park & Towne & Mill: Expanding Woodstock’s Footprint The Adair Park development (8212 Main Street) is experiencing exciting growth, highlighted by the recent opening of Roberto’s Deluxe and the upcoming arrival of Oishii Sushi Noodle Bar in 2025. Meanwhile, on the west side of downtown Woodstock in the Towne & Mill area, a brand-new Publix-anchored grocery store is in the works, bringing the first walkable grocer to the downtown district. With expanded roadways and improved traffic routes, these enhancements will offer greater accessibility while maintaining the charm that makes Woodstock so unique.
